The Garw Valley Heritage Society is currently involved in plans for exhibitions and talks throughout this year, in various venues up and down the Garw valley, now that there is more freedom of movement and the virus hopefully losing its grip.

To start the year off, and a welcome to Spring, there will be a guided walk of Blaengarw conducted by GVHS researcher Gerald Jarvis, taking place on Monday March 7th. Starting point and meeting place is the William Trigg centre (Dan-y-Mynydd) in Blaengarw, at 10am, and the duration will be approximately an hour. Gerald will be pointing out all local places of interest, industrial and social, all to take place in beautiful surroundings.
