The Garw Valley Heritage Society is looking to expand its website (www.garwheritage.co.uk) and urgently needs more photographs, memories, and items of historical interest from Garw residents, especially from the Betws and Llangeinor areas which are currently under-represented. If you have anything of interest that can be copied and returned, please call secretary Jean Fowlds on 01656 856091 and arrangements will be made to come and see you.
This is in addition to previous requests for any WW1 material that can be used for the GVHS exhibition taking place in 2014. If you have any items of interest, maybe from family members’ albums or trunks in the loft, please let us know!
